Our journey began with our CEO and founder, Tim Martin, who, after a successful career in the pipeline industry, felt the frustration of unrealized potential and dismissed ideas that could revolutionize the field.

In 2014, fueled by a passion for progress, he took matters into his own hands, establishing Sideline Specialty Equipment in a garage with nothing but a folding table and tote tubs for desks. Thus, our venture into pipeline rentals began, and from humble beginnings, we quickly soared, making waves with our fresh approach and like-minded team.

In 2015, the landscape shifted as Cross Country Infrastructure Services in the USA recognized our potential and acquired Sideline. While the acquisition expanded our access to resources, it also presented the challenge of conforming to established norms. Unyielding in our commitment to innovation, in 2021 Tim Martin and his business partner Kade Demuth, along with our dedicated team, reclaimed the company back to its Canadian roots.

And so, Cross Country Canada was born, blending our established brand with a touch of Canadian pride – introducing Cross Country Canada Supplies & Rentals.
