1

ECONOMICAL FREIGHT

Since Grid-Guard is much lighter than the competition, freight providers can fit more square footage per load, thus lowering freight costs.

2

EASY TO INSTALL

The installation of rock shield is a tedious and repetitive job, which can be quite strenuous on the install crew.  Grid-Guard is half the weight of the competition making it much less taxing to handle and apply.

WON'T BUNCH UP

3

The three-dimensional mesh pattern of Grid-Guard creates a consistent and uniform structure that is dimensionally stable.  This ensures that the Grid-Guard won’t be caught on un-even areas and bunch up in cradles during installation.  This also allows for much wider spacing between tape wrap, up to 18”.

COLD RESISTANT

Some of the common rock shield competitor products are constructed from PVC, which is a plastic that can become brittle at below-freezing temperatures.   Grid-Guard, however, is constructed from polyethylene, which remains impact resistant and durable at extreme cold temperatures.

5

LARGER ROLLS

Grid-Guard HD-Plus comes in longer rolls than the competition (up to 50'), while remaining at the industry standard of 3/8" thick.  Less overlap equals less labour and creates cost savings at every mile.
